Americana 11 Year Old Single Barrel Rye Whiskey

This is an experience I've been looking forward to sharing for a long time. A fantastic example of how great aged rye can taste, this is a cask that I have held for a number of years, knowing that is was getting better every year and now it's ready to share.

Distilled and aged for the first few years at MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the hidden giant of American whiskey known for its top-quality liquid. It was then brought over to the UK to finish its ageing in our warehouse, where I could sample regularly to make sure it was progressing as I expected.

Mashbill: 95% Rye | 5% Malted Barley
Age: 11 Years Old
Barrel: New American White Oak
Barrel Yield: 191 bottles
Aroma: Bold rye spice and floral notes. Slight notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and mint in the background.
Tasting Notes: Caramel and vanilla forward notes fade to a complex spice and smoky body. The rye spice in the body carries into a long finish.
