Cask Na Nollaig Islay Blended Malt (Curious Whiskies)

Cask Na Nollaig (the Christmas Cask) is an Islay blended malt, aged in a port cask and bottled by Curious Whiskies last Christmas.

There were only 200 bottles produced of this lovely mix of Islay peat and port.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Black cherry, caramel, mulled wine, a whisper of peat
Palate: Dark chocolate, hazelnuts, figs, cranberry sauce, oily smoke
Finish: Long and lingering with dried fruits in with the smoke
