Speyburn 18 Speyside Single Malt

A Speyside single malt matured for 18 years in American and Spanish oak casks, this whisky was added to the distillery's core range in 2018, in celebration of distillery manager, Bobby Anderson's, 18-year anniversary at the distillery.

A very well-balanced whisky.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Dark golden.

Nose:
Brimming with sweet toffee, sugared almonds and chunky tropical fruit. Hints of caramelized sugar and candied apples give way to very slight honey notes.

Taste:
Creamy dark chocolate, toffee, a gently oak spiciness and a touch of citrus give way to a long, slightly smoky finish with an enticing bittersweet edge.
