Oxford Rye Whisky - Single Tawny Port Cask

The Oxford Artisan Distillery is a ‘grain-to-glass’ craft distillery located in the centre of Oxford. We are proud to farm ‘heritage grains’ and these grains, bred for flavor ahead of yield and which require no agri-chemicals and minimal field intervention, are at the heart of our fabulous spirits.

• Produced from one 30-year-old tawny port pipe and matured entirely at the distillery in Oxford.
• 90% Maslin (Rye and Wheat Grown Together) and 10% Malted Barley - this ends up as approx 70% Rye, 20% Wheat and 10% Malted Barley
• 2017 Harvest from multiple farms all within 50 miles of the distillery
• 120 hour Fermented in Hungarian Oak Vats
• Distilled in both Nautilus and Nemo (both our stills)

Notes of fruit, spice and nut, whilst chocolate and spices pair with herbal and savoury notes and a toasted finish
